Dominant of the Medvedia Mountains recreation area, Hotel MERKUR is located approximately 150 m from the Zemplínska Šírava water reservoir. It is situated in a high place from where the visitor has a beautiful view of the water surface and the surrounding nature. An inconspicuous advantage of MERKUR hotel is the immediate distance from the newly opened Thermal Park Šírava (50 m). The hotel has a capacity of 51 beds. We offer accommodation in STANDARD and COMFORT rooms. For relaxation, after a beautiful holiday day, a newly refurbished hotel restaurant or garden terrace is directly created. On the terrace there are sessions for cimbalom folk music, which are associated with regional wine tasting and local specialties. There is also a sports complex with a tennis court, two universal playgrounds and a miniature golf course. A spacious pavilion with a grill and hotel parking is available for guests.
